Crystal-Infused Oils

Directions - First you will need to find a small container with a recloseable lid or cap. A travel size shampoo bottle is a good size, just make sure that it is thoroughly cleaned and rinsed before you use it. For the Oil Infusions, you will need a small crystal that can fit inside the container that you use and a food grade oil; Extra Virgin Olive Oil works best and is easy to find.

Wash and rinse the crystal and place it inside the container. Then fill up the container with the oil. It is best to only use one crystal per bottle. Close the lid/cap securely. You will want to tip the container up and down a few times to mix the crystal thoroughly with the oil. Then leave the oil infusion alone for 24 hours, this will allow the mixture to align with the crystal inside. You can place the bottle next to a larger crystal to help it charge if you wish during this 24 hour period.

Once the oil infusion has been aligned with the energy of the crystal, it is ready to use. To use the crystal infused oil, place a couple of drops on your hands and rub it into the affected area once daily. Be sure to wash your hands after you have finished applying the oil. Please see the chart below for more information on the best areas for each crystal.

Oil infusions work best when you want to have the energy of a crystal with you for an extended period of time, but it may not be convenient to carry it all day.

As the oil infusion gets used, you can simply refill the oil once the level reaches halfway. As long as you refill at this level, you will not need to recharge the mixture.

Recommended Use for Different Crystals -

Each of the crystals below has its own benefits. Please refer to the information page on each crystal to learn about the specific properties of it. The chart below shows the optimal area to place the oil-infusions for each crystal mentioned on Aurora's Message.

Clear Quartz - Clear Quartz oil-infusions can be placed anywhere on body for stress relief or to refresh your energy.

Tiger's Eye - Tiger's Eye oil-infusions are good for the legs and feet, and can also help to restore circulation to cold extremities.

Aventurine - Aventurine oil-infusions are great for calming skin eruptions and can be placed anywhere on the body.

Citrine - Citrine oil-infusions are best placed on the stomach or small of the back, and can be used as a wonderful digestion aid.

Aquamarine - Aquamarine oil-infusions can be placed on the head, neck and shoulders as well as the hands and feet.

Lapis Lazuli - Lapis Lazuli oil-infusions can be placed on the forehead or throat.

Serpentine - Serpentine oil-infusions can be placed on the midsection / stomach area to assist in eliminating toxins and balancing the body.

Moonstone - Moonstone oil-infusions can be applied to the heart area and chest. DO NOT USE during the full moon.

Beryl - Beryl oil-infusions can be placed anywhere on the body as needed.

Rose Quartz - Rose Quartz oil-infusions work best on the chest and heart area, but can be placed anywhere on the body.

Rhodochrosite - Rhodochrosite oil-infusions can be placed on the skin and around the genitals.

Fluorite - Fluorite oil-infusions can be placed on the upper chest area and stomach.

Chrysocolla - Chrysocolla oil-infusions can be placed anywhere on the body to alleviate muscle spasms and cramps.

Kunzite - Kunzite oil-infusions can be placed on the head, throat and cheeks.

Ametrine - Ametrine oil-infusions can be placed around the heart chakra, throat and third eye chakra.

Muscovite - Muscovite will disintegrate over time in an oil infusion, but it still can be used in this method. This oil-infusion can be placed on the upper and lower arms.

Herkimer Diamond - Herkimer Diamond oil-infusions can be applied on the solar plexus, chest, back, shoulders, neck and head.

Sugilite - Sugilite can be applied on the heart area, forehead, upper abdominals and back. Sugilite oil-infusions can be applied anywhere on the body that is experiencing pain as a result of releasing past life energy.

Smoky Quartz - Smoky Quartz oil-infusions should be used sparingly & can be placed on the feet, legs and rear end.

Carnelian - Carnelian oil-infusions can be used on the genitals, lower abdomen and lower back.

Amber - Amber oil-infusions can be placed on the stomach to aid in digestion and boost self-confidence.

Amethyst - You can apply Amethyst oil-infusions on the shoulders, neck and upper chest as well as the forehead.

Labradorite - Labradorite oil-infusions can be used on the third eye chakra and on the hands during meditation. Use this oil-infusion sparingly, like just on a once-a-week basis to begin.

Sodalite - Sodalite oil-infusions can be applied on the cheeks, throat and back of the neck.

Shattuckite - Shattuckite oil-infusions can be applied on the cheeks, throat, upper chest, back of the neck and third eye.
