Classes & EventsMaster of Metaphysics - Beginner's CourseThe Master of Metaphysics Beginner's Course is designed to give an overview of several metaphysical topics. Upon the completion of the course, you should have knowledge in a variety of topics and also gain insights on how to use that knowledge to assist you in your everyday life. Metaphysics is about understanding the world around you, beyond what can be perceived with our five senses. Metaphysics is a multifaceted topic, and has such a variety of subjects under its umbrella. To cover everything in the world of metaphysics would take more than one course, and following the Master of Metaphysics Beginner's course will be two additional courses, the Advanced Course and Living Mastery Course. Each course will build upon the knowledge and energy gained from the previous course. Living Mastery Course - coming in 2014 This course system was originated by Margaret McElroy, and she has graduated thousands of students who have gone on to wonderful metaphysical careers. Karen Downing is one of Margaret's graduate students and has been asked by Margaret to take over the teaching of this course. Listed below is the list of topics that will be covered. On the last day of the course, Karen will channel Aurora and each person in attendance will receive a certificate of completion signed by both Karen Downing and Margaret McElroy. Subjects CoveredWhat is Metaphysics? - A general description of metaphysics will be provided and we will have a discussion of what it means both individually and collectively. Self and Higher Self - Understanding the Self and the Higher Self parts of us. Levels of Consciousness - Learning about the levels of consciousness (sometimes called the levels of ascension), what happens at each level and how to know what level you are on. Astrology - The basics of astrology, including how to understand your own Natal (birth) chart; this will include, house system, what each house represents and basic planets. Please bring your birth information to the course, including birth time. Meditation - We will do meditation once each day. Some meditations will be guided, some will be just with music in the background. We will also talk about the benefits of meditation, and give pointers for meditating at home. Past Lives - Information on past lives and why they are important for our own healing process. Chakras - A talk about each of the chakras, including new ones! Animal Communication - We will look at various species of animals and talk about guidelines, personalities and topics to ask them about. You will also be given tools to start talking with the animals in your life! Intuition - How to know when it is your intuition versus your Self talking. Exercises will be given to foster trust in your own intuitive process. Energy Healing - We will have a discussion about the energetic body. Each person will also experience what healing energy feels like when it comes through the hands, and we will talk about how we can use it properly and effectively. Crystals - A brief discussion of the "essential crystal toolbox" and how you can use crystals with each chakra. There will also be a talk on the power of crystals to assist you in raising your consciousness, and methods of using crystals for self-healing. Dates, Times and PricingThe Master of Metaphysics Beginner's Course will be offered 2-3 times throughout the year in a group setting. You can sign up for the course by paying your deposit, or full course fee, below, or by sending Karen an email. You will receive an email response from Karen asking you which course dates you prefer, gathering any necessary information from you and giving you a link to pay for the remainder of the course fee at your convenience. The total price for the group course is $1,500 US. It is requested that a $250 US deposit be paid upon sign up to hold your space and the remainder of the fee ($1,250 US) is due by the first day of the course. Payment arrangements can be made. Any airfare, meals (aisde from lunch) and lodging will have to be purchased separately.
